However you'd rather begin, I'm here.
A few things worth knowing before you reach out.
Yes — sessions are confidential, in keeping with professional counselling ethics. The only exception is a genuine risk of serious harm, which I'd always discuss with you directly first.
The first session is mostly about getting to know each other — why you're here, what you're hoping for, and how I work. You're never expected to share more than you're ready to; it's as much about finding out if we're a good fit as anything else.
Yes — in person in Johannesburg, or online anywhere in South Africa via video call, at the same R550 fee either way.
I ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Sessions cancelled later than that are still charged, barring genuine emergencies.
Sessions are private pay at R550, settled directly rather than billed to medical aid. Some medical aids offer a claim-back option for counselling, so it's worth checking your plan.
You don't need to know that before reaching out. If you're unsure, just get in touch and we'll figure out the right fit together.
